For our guests who have booked our breakfast offer directly at the time of reservation, a rich buffet is ready every morning. Our breakfast team, which cooks and bakes for you very early in the morning, is happy to fulfil all your breakfast wishes:
- Our breakfast buffet for morning hunger: Our complete breakfast buffet based on the day's offerings with freshly prepared egg dishes and your favourite drink (CHF 29,--).
- For quick starters and breakfast haters, we offer a delicious "small breakfast": We like to start the morning at the hotel in a relaxed manner, for example with a typical Swiss breakfast. We are happy to bring you, individually ordered, various small starter variations to your breakfast table. Enjoy an aromatic coffee and a light Gipfli from the Basel bakeries or opt for an international start to the day – with rolls, butter, jam and coffee? You decide how extensive you want your breakfast to be.
- On request, we will serve you a delicious selection of egg dishes: Swiss organic eggs, bread, toast and rolls – or each time fresh, vitamin-rich, homemade Bircher muesli, fruit salad or yogurt with fruits (all variations at CHF 12,-- each).
- Of course, your favourite drink should not be missing: We prepare fresh coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, espresso, hot milk/chocolate/Ovo or our numerous tea specialities from the London Tea House.

You can enjoy the first delicacies of the day in our cosy breakfast lounge "Josephine", which we recently named after our charismatic founder: Josephine Buttler founded the "Association of Young Girls" over one hundred and twenty years ago.
A good day begins with a healthy breakfast, so they say. However, the times and breakfast habits of our guests vary greatly - and since we host people with very different breakfast habits here in Basel, at the crossroads of three countries, we have tailored our offerings to meet your needs!
