Our job offers at our hotel in Basel city. Currently, we are looking for:
You are jointly responsible for looking after our guests, ensuring that information reaches our guests and staff. This influences whether our guests feel comfortable and whether the workday is uncomplicated. Tasks such as check-in and check-out are part of the daily work, as well as correspondence and reservation checks. At the reception, you are at the interface of the house – communication is omnipresent. You meet ongoing demands with joy and are open to new experiences. As a team, we work together, and you enjoy the opportunity to assist in another department when possible.

- friendly interactions with guests and staff.

- handling challenging situations. Here, you act skillfully and maintain an overview.
- flawless written correspondence in German.
- dealing with Swiss regions; you are knowledgeable about Switzerland and can inspire our guests with your knowledge.
- inputting and checking hotel reservations.
You have already gained experience ...
- in communication and correspondence in English/French.
- in commercial tasks – you apply these purposefully.
- in using the PMS Protel and Microsoft Office.
You enjoy taking on challenges and ...
- learning about revenue and yield management.
- getting to know our internal communication tool Hotelkit.
- exciting our guests about city tourism and/or introducing them to other possible leisure activities in Basel and the region.
For this, we offer you ...
- a salary offer ranging from CHF 58,500 – CHF 63,700 annual salary (100% workload including 13th month salary). Applications from talents who do not yet meet all requirements or bring above-average knowledge and experience are often also of interest. In such cases, the starting salary may be slightly below or above this range.

Strong for the Community
Our 3* Superior private hotel with 53 rooms belongs to the Compagna Basel association. This association is also the owner of the property.
All profits from the hotel, after deducting expenses, go to the association. This finances the maintenance of the works, associated expenses such as operating costs and staff wages. Currently, this is the SOS Bahnhofshilfe at the SBB train station.
